                              Executive Director

              Jill served as Assistant Director at Friends in Need for 6 1/2 years and took over as Executive Director upon the retirement of Michelle Rageth, who served FIN for 25 years. She grew up in northern Minnesota, and attended college at Arizona State University.  Jill has a husband and two adult daughters.
              
              Jill manages over 100 volunteers at the food shelf and is responsible for grant writing and fundraising, as well as day-to-day operations.   She reports to the Board of Directors, which is made up of business leaders from our community who are passionate about our vision. She is responsible for engaging the community in our mission and facilitating the bridge between our donors and our clients.
