Deciding to use a food shelf may be a difficult decision. We hope to make this process easier by helping our clients feel welcome and treating them with confidentiality, dignity and respect. Clients do not have to wait until they are in severe debt to come to us. Sometimes getting help with food leaves extra money for other bills. No one should feel uncomfortable coming to us for help.
Who can come to the food shelf?
The Friends in Need Food Shelf serves the residents of Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park, Newport and Grey Cloud Island. If you are not from one of these communities, please call the Minnesota Food Help Line 1-888-711-1151 to find out your food shelf location.
How do I make an appointment?
We encourage you to schedule an appointment before coming to the food shelf so we may better serve you.
